Name
In 2016, most vape companies in the e-cigarette industry lacked polish and distinctive branding. My new vape brand needed to cut through the noise, and it started with picking the right name.
The name had to reflect the brand’s focus on refreshing flavors, start with the letter “A” (so the company would be at the top, alphabetically, of a vape shop’s tasting menu), and could easily become trademarked.
Aeris (pronounced aer-us) is Latin for air. Using a Latin word allowed me to breeze through the trademark, domain, and SEO process. It also fit the brand’s DNA of being unique.
Logo
With Aeris newly trademarked, the brand’s logo had to communicate what a Latin word couldn’t:
a premium vape company.
Taking influence from Asian-styled illustrations of calming clouds, the Aeris plume of smoke was developed. Paired with a foliage-dense background and a clean modern white border, the logo was ready for packaging and a tagline.

“Refreshingly different” is the distillation and reinforcement of the brand’s three core values.
Aeris Vapors’ flavors are: 1) Refreshing 2) Unique
3) Meticulously developed by the best and most experienced mixologists in the industry. Expect something different from Aeris, something Refreshingly Different.
